(SMILE) MAKEOVER MONDAY!!
Comprehensive orthodontic treatment with extraction of 4 premolars
This patient presented with severe dental crowding, flared incisors, narrow arches, and minimal overbite (little overlap of the incisors while biting). Orthodontic treatment consisted of full upper and lower arch braces and arch expansion, in combination with extraction of 4 premolars (teeth behind the canines) in order to create room for dental alignment and retract the anterior incisors. The patient finished with good dental alignment, proper overbite and a substantial reduction of incisor flaring, which provided for competent lip posture and a confident smile for life.
Nothing makes us happier than watching our patients enjoy their new healthy, beautiful smile!
